Ani-Magic 2002 played host to a unique event. The Ani-Magic 2002 crossplay fashion show (yes, that's crossplay fashion show) was an opportunity for otaku who took the ultimate plunge in wearing a costume of a character of the opposite gender to show off their costume-making skills (it was also a reminder that the weapons policy at Ani-Magic may have to be enforced more strictly - real swords are supposed to be peace-bonded at Ani-Magic, like at many other conventions). To those cosplayers who have made the sacrifice in crossplaying, we salute you!
I'm looking for descriptions and character names of cosplayers (especially those that have ???s under them). If you have a name/series/description for any of the shots on this page that you'd like to contribute, please send an email to me and I'll try to update the descriptions as soon as I can. Thank you for viewing!
