Ani-Magic 2002 Masquerade

The masquerade is generally the main event at almost any anime convention that a fan attends. And for a convention like Ani-Magic that pushes itself as a cosplayer's convention, this applies doubly so. This year, there were nearly 30 competitive entries in the "Cosplay Under the Stars" held poolside at the Best Western. From the simple walk-on, show off, and walk off to demonstrations of martial arts in costume, the masqueraders showed off the fruits of their hours of costume preparation.
