In a con pushed back about as much as one could expect, Fanime 2003 had to face the challenge of running 2 weeks before probably the largest anime convention in the States, in a location not overly far from said convention (on the order of only 400 miles).

However, that doesn't mean that the attendees to the convention couldn't have fun.
